Great post! I’d heard of around half of these people before so it was good to hear more about them and learn about new tech celebs too. Funny to think that probably all of them didn’t set out to be famous and just wanted to make better tech. Sometimes it’s a shame as people end up leading companies when actually all they really want to do is be back at the coalface designing and tweaking their products.
I always wonder about famous people, if they still feel normal or if they feel different somehow. It must be very weird to be recognised everywhere, I think I would miss the freedom of being able to go about my business without anybody paying much attention. I hadn’t heard of all of these celebs so I found this post a really interesting read.
I knew about the guy who invented Donkey Kong etc but the others are all new names to me. Really interesting to see the similarities and also differences in their journeys. Many of them are out there doing good in the world now too, which is a great use of their earnings. And let’s face it, they probably won’t notice it on their bank balance!
