I am still obsessed with Ghost of Tsushima: Director’s Cut, what a diamond of a game. It keeps you guessing all the way through and I love the strategy and tactics involved. I couldn’t warm to Senua’s Saga: Hellblade 2 but Paper Mario: The Thousand Year Door is another good one.

  2. Maybe I’m a bit left field but I love Read Only Memories: Neurodiver and it’s actually in my top 10 games of 2024. I just love everything about it, it’s such an unusual concept and the gameplay is awesome.

I have been playing F1 24 almost non stop and in between I have a few rounds on Endless Ocean Luminous. Such a great selection of games this month, there really is something for everyone.

  4. Another vote for Ghost of Tsushima: Director’s Cut here! It’s such a beautiful game to play on a PC and really brings everything to life so well. It has a really immersive gaming experience, it’s for sure one of the best games I’ve played this year.

My brother got Ghost of Tsushima: Director’s Cut last week and can’t stop raving about it so I caved and bought it yesterday. I CAN’T STOP PLAYING IT. Wow, what a game! If you haven’t tried this one yet then I urge you to put that right ASAP!!

  6. I have been looking forward to Ghost of Tsushima: Director’s Cut on PC for SO long, when I finally got my hands on it I could hardly contain my excitement. It’s turned out to be well worth the wait and it’s a lifetime favourite game of mine now. Don’t miss this one!

  7. I wasn’t expecting too much from the Paper Mario: The Thousand Year Door remake as remakes can feel a bit pointless but I am pleased to say that I was very pleasantly surprised by it. It has quite a few differences to the original and is different enough to keep me hooked for several weeks now. So if you’re wondering about giving it a try my recommendation is that you definitely should!

Totally addicted to Read Only Memories: Neurodiver! It blends perfectly from the original game (2064: Read Only Memories) but also if you were playing it as a standalone and had never played the first instalment it totally works too. The game really draws you in and involves you from the outset. Great game.

I must have played Sayonara Wild Hearts over 500 times so when Simogo announced they were bringing out Lorelei and the Laser Eyes I put my name straight onto the waiting list. It’s a very different game but there are some (good) similarities, definitely different enough for it to be worthwhile owning both games. I love puzzles in any form and this game has some very challenging options.

Another vote here for Nine Sols! What an utterly beautiful game, it really is a masterpiece. I love it so much that I bought it for my cousin for his birthday and he loves it too. We normally like paying quite different games but this is one we can agree on.

I really like these blog posts you do with these mini reviews of the best games from each month. I hope you will keep it going as it’s helped me buy games for myself but also for family members’ birthday and Christmas presents. I am awful at choosing gifts but games are a great option and your write-ups make it pretty easy to choose something suitable for all my loved ones. Cheers mate!

  12. Only just got into gaming myself and I don’t have a big budget but these posts you do each month will help me pick out what to buy when funds allow. This month I got Paper Mario as it looked so cool and I have not been disappointed.

Been a gamer my whole life and I have a ridiculously large collection of games. Most of them I play for a while and then put away or sometimes sell on if I need the money. I bought Senua’s Saga: Hellblade 2 based on your review and it hasn’t let me down! It’s a real must-play game and the graphics are some of the best I’ve seen in a game. I won’t be selling this one on, not for a while at least!
